Melissa Guerra
Born
originally from Valencia, Venezuela . Her soccer career began at the age
of 12 when being exposed to a local recreational team. During the course
of her professional career she was part of well known premier soccer
clubs throughout the South Florida region.
Her
coaching career began in the year 2001 when getting involved with
organizations to put together tournaments, school programs and soccer
clinics. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management
from St. Thomas University, where she also played as a starting right
midfielder for 4 1/2 years as part of the Women soccer program.
Melissa is
currently dedicated to coaching 100% as the Head Coach of the Miami
Lakes U12 girls’ team and as The 2nd Assistant Coach of the Women
Florida Memorial University soccer program.
